Hello, I'm a sort of noob in the music creation department.
A long time ago, I messed around with propellerheads rebirth rb338 and propellerheads reason to make some tunes, but I pretty much got out of the train in the early 2000's.
I'm looking for a software to create my own riffs and compose songs. But preferably something not as intimidating as Cubase.
For reference the type of music I intend to compose is something like this:
An hybrid between trance, dubstep, progressive metal with an avant gard undertone, and also some R&B type of composition, like this:
