But SO NOT BECAUSE OF MY FAULT. The light change was UNNOTICABLE from the angle I was behind the idiot in front of me. Sad I raged so much I created a rage comic:

Yeah, my second time will be on Wednesday, but god damn it, I'm sure I would've passed it if the fucking idiot in front of me knew how to operate a car :<

Smug

No, really, the guy in front of me stopped right in front of the stopping line, and I could barely see the lights. I even looked up before I pressed the gas, and it was still green.

Even the examinator commented that if I was 0.000001 seconds faster I would still go on green, god damn it. Laughing

Yeah, but in Poland ( I don't know if it's the same in other countries) you can only pass on yellow if you go high speed, and I was basically driving from full stop. So I guess I probably drove through on yellow, but he stopped my car anyway.

Ouuuuuch.... shit, sorry to hear that matey Sad Sometimes it's the dumbest shit that ends up throwing a spanner in the works. Best of luck for your re-test! Incidentally, how did your theoretical test go? Have you taken it yet?

18. Each question has 3 answers to choose from, but one question can have 1, 2, or even 3 answers.

You suck at driving and half the driving is noticing shit around you, I would have made you sit on the gear stick if I was your instructor.

Would it be evil to take this out of context and put it into my sig? Cool Face

I've had three separate driver's license tests, passed all on first try:

For the motorcycle test I got a real hardass that was known to fail you for the slightest mistakes. So I reserved the time for friday afternoon before a holiday weekend and so got away with a quick test because the guy wanted to get out of work asap.

For my car license I didn't bother to go a driving school, but had my dad teach me instead (a lot cheaper, plus we cheated on the hours Very Happy). I was a bit nervous actually, since there were some areas we hadn't practiced a whole lot. On the day before the test we went to a section of the city that had some special intersections, one-way streets and such - quite far from where the test office was but we figured what the hell.

So guess where the exam guy wanted me to drive? Yeah, that exact same area.

And for my truck license test I got a real mellow old guy, he just told funny stories the whole time and didn't even care when I kept on going through yellow lights.

Again,

Better luck next time Neon!

You can't do this in Poland. When you apply for a driving license, you have to give some papers from your driving school stating that you finished the school. Razz

Well i got it in my 4th try , my brother who got it from his first isnt as good with the car as me so go figure.
Out of 4 tries i got kicked out twice .
On the 1st try the examinator for the written test (at the time it was written) started talking about the rules before everyone is inside and it was my first try and i studied my ass of for it and i was nervous so when he handid me my paper i started solving it but i should have waited till he said start or some shit so i got kicked out.
On try number 2 on a 3 way lane the car on the 1st lane didnt let some old woman to get on the zebra and i was on the 3rd lane so i continued my way since i was too far from her so that fucked me.
On my 3rd try my ID was really deteriorating and some idiot used a fake ID a day before to take the exman instead of the real guy so the wouldn't let me in.
And finally on my 4th try i didnt really study since i knew everything backwards , so i passed.

Anyway , if you're not responsable and can't handle some high traffic or tight parking situations better burn the license.

The practical test was a joke Smile Here in germany you drive together with your driving instructor (he sits in the back) and the guy from the licensing bureau. My instructor kept talking to the guy and he totally forgot that we went straight to an autobahn. So I drove on the autobahn for half an hour and then he looked at the time and we returned to the city. After I parked the car he said "ok young man, you did it, congratulations" Laughing

Wait, you guys actually take a driving test in Poland? Sure as hell didn't look like it when I was over there, or when I see Polish cars on the road here Razz
Joking aside (not really, Polish drivers here in NL are almost as dangerous as old people Razz), don't rush during the exam: stop whenever lights aren't green, exaggerate your awareness by actively turning your head, brake early, and so on and you'll be fine Wink

Here in NL it's pretty much the same as it is in Germany, although the thing they look for here is you checking your mirrors in abundance. Looking at the mirror doesn't count, they want you to turn your head towards it - idiots. I had some old guy, drove around the city for 45 minutes without intervention and he just went "I could point some stuff out, but you're extremely comfortable behind the wheel and look around properly so congrats". Turns out that same dude is the one who failed my mum on her first try over 30 years ago.

I passed all my driving tests without any fails. Regular car, Truck, Truck+Trailer.

All driving instructors and exam people said I'm a great driver.

I hate you.

Dunno actually, he has cameras outside the car with a screen inside, so that might've been it.
