fuck the forest i hate foliage.= mainly because if u have an old card like me then its a lot harder to distinguish between the enemy and the bushes. still end of march is a great time although for some reason i dont think it will make that date.

Nah, I can see it already.

Initial release = buggy and heavily unbalanced.

Everyone will cry and complain and say they will stick ot BF42, etc.

It'll take them at least two patches to get it right, but the third one will make it worse and everyone will cry again.

my favoutire BF maps were the ones in towns with broken down buildings. going in a jeep for 10 mins trying to find some1 was too annoying. as long as these maps arent just straight lines with a few alleyways (like on most screenshots) then this should be good.

I bet it will run like shit. Seems that the engine doesn't produce really l33ch graphics (looks nice though) and really asks alot of PC power, like BF1942 and BFV did. The engine is worse than the UE, i hate engines which l33ch ur comp alot for nothing special.

DICE: The system requirements will be equal or slightly greater than BFV

So I don't think the majority of gamers wont have serious problems. Stop speculating about the system requirements only based on movies. If you see a framerate of 10 on the official movies then that's something to worry about.

bf1942 graphic engine is worse than bfv graphic engine.. bfv is much better graphic than bf1942 and runs better atleast in my pc.. so i think dice is capable to do good graphic engine with almost same pc requirements..and btw bfv doesn't have bad engine.. Shocked ps .. can't wait for the game Very Happy

Found this info....

Performance was one of the biggest things we were looking for in the CES demo, as this game requires some serious meat to run, and hasn't always been shown running at full clip. The CES demo, which was running on Nvidia's 6800 Ultras running in SLI, kept it together for a full-on visual assault -- this was hardcore hardware being employed, so we don't know yet how the rest of us will be seeing the game on our broke-ass machines, but at least the game can run like the French when it needs to. The normal mapping and shadowing effects looked in sharp relief on the vehicles and soldiers, even if the game's exterior daytime setting in realistic warzones don't allow as much showy flair as some of the other big-name shooters. The particular visual treat was in the amazing draw distance this game's gigantic levels allowed, which was never hitched up as we zoomed across hills on jeeps or ran up towers for flags. We didn't come across any vehicles of flight in this demo, but in our previous gameplay sessions, airtime will be very similar to prior Battlefield games. Our only issue with the visuals was that the grass effects, while dense, was still very simple and felt like crawling through fields of floating sprite nets. On the macro level, the game looks perfect, but you'll be spending a lot of time on your belly hiding in the grass, and these effects could really be tuned up to hold the illusion of reality together. Also, there were a few temporary animations, such as skip-step movement on the animation for steering wheels seen in our CES video clips, which we have to imagine will be fixed for the final game.

Many games are doing this, designing themselves for tomorrow's hardware, no big surprise there.

Both former Battlefield versions ran poorly when released. It's almost not until now with an AMD64 3500+ and a x800xt and a couple of patches that I have been satisfied with BF Vietnams performance. So I agree sToOz, no big surprise.

I never did see a movie of BF2, just speaking from my experience with BF1942 and BFV.

I dunno, I'm already predicting a LOT of frustrated helo pilots from those missiles locking on, and according to the movie, killing in one hit.
