I thought that, lots of the percentages seem fucked up, unless there is a unknown "couldnt give a fuck" factor

Saner is not being serious. Unless its the subject of Santa!
Discrepancies are due to the "Don't Know" and "Refused" answers

I wouldn't say that a survey of happy people would exactly coincide with this survey cause being happy is defined by each person themselves. And trust me, religious people are too daft to be miserable.
Actually, stupid people in general are usually happy cause all they worry about is what hat they should wear when going out or if their shoes match their shirt... ^_^
This is based on the presumption you have to subscribe to the beliefs of others to be religious. A wholly absurd presumption because religion is based on religious experience, anyone who bases their views about religion on other people religious experience is a fucking tool.

Do you all allow others to dictate your religious views ? Religion is based on opinions science on facts. Only a tool goes by other peoples opinions when they are perfectly capable of coming up with their own .

we've been there ChinUp. Several times. You have failed to grasp that the general understanding of what religion is, is not what you see as "religion". Which makes it very hard to communicate on the matter. Also, berating people on how your view (of what "religion" is or is not) is the supreme arbiter of all religious questions has not helped either. Calling us fucking tools to begin one of your self-serviing religious monologues again, isnt the best starting-point as well.
Well I know some religious nuts are very intolerant of unreligious people but I have a feeling im becoming the opposite which is as bad. I thinkof myself as an agnostic, but seeing christians in facebook blabbering about Christ all the time annoys me a lot and I often find myself thinking their tools or something similar. When I think about it, im no better than those religious nuts and this makes me sad . Not sure why I have this hate against religion.

i sometimes have similar feelings. Most often when religious people look like they are trying to convince themselves more than others of their religious convictions or when it is clear that they are brushing away valid concerns of people with religious platitudes or bullshit "truisms". It angers me, when somebody has felt loss or is in a emotional state of distress and somebody else jumps into such a situation with "oh yeah, god will rectify that" or "he s in heaven now" without acknowledging the hardship that the person goes through or even the glimpse of a solution to the problem.
edit: i think what mainly gets to me is the perpetration and / or perpetuation of a lie that a child can see through. The magic bearded man from the sky and his future happy place. Yeah, right.

"Is religion important in your daily life?" was asked; the "yes" and "no" answers are represented below.
The question seems rather open to me. Nothing is said about how religion defined.
