Isotopium: Chernobyl

Chernobyl... the most desolate and mysterious place on earth. You have to manage the real Avacar in real time from your computer. Your task is to help humanity to collect special energy in the closed Chernobyl zone. You have to solve riddles, compete with other players and fight for survival.

About the game

In the near future, having used up all it's natural resources, humanity stands on the brink of catastrophe. Scientists have devised a number of alternative ways of obtaining energy. One of these involves transforming isotope radiation into a special energy. This energy is the most expensive resource on Earth. All over the planet, containers have been installed at places with high levels of radioactive radiation to collect the energy. The biggest extraction zone on the planet is Chernobyl.

Collecting the energy is extremely dangerous work, so it is done by remote-controlled robots. Your task is to collect as much as possible of this rare energy in it's different forms, so as to prolong the existence of the human race. During your mission, you can expect dangerous and exciting adventures.

Remember: Chernobyl was a closed zone for many years, and it contains many secrets and many surprises.

The game Isotopium is:

A new online game concept.
An actually existing, reduced-scale arena – a 210-square-meter copy of the city of Chernobyl.
Genuine remote-controlled tracked 12-inch robots.
The ability to play from anywhere in the world and on any device.
A game governed by the real-world laws of physics.

Quote:
"Remote Games" is a start-up founded by people who share the same idea of modern online games. "REMOTE REALITY" is a new concept that incorporates remote-controlled robot technology. We created a gaming platform that allows a player to control real robots over the Internet in real time. Video streaming comes without delays from robot cameras. Game takes place in arenas that can be located anywhere in the world. All arenas are linked together. Players can switch from one arena to another in just one click and play in multiplayers mode.

Furthermore any player can build their own world in their basement or garage. In addition to software, we are developing and building a variety of robots and other devices. We truly believe that our new gaming concept will find a lot of enthusiasts around the world.

Any place can become game arena, like Mars colony or underground cave. Our first arena, ISOTOPIUM, lets players enter Chernobyl exclusion zone.

Our arena covers 210 square meters (2260 sq. ft.). Our professional set designer and our team tried to reproduce city buildings, amenities and roads with great accuracy. Every building, including nuclear power plant, has three to four stories and lets players move around inside. We did everything we could to create a feeling of real Chernobyl.
