if you want high quality prints combined with sizes that are large then you will pay through the nose for a proper quality photo printer... anything else is fine for general stuff and to naked eye wont matter, but for the nice stuff its expensive, epson do some high end printers for photo work if I remember that did a4 and larger as standard. Nice shit Very Happy

It will be more than enough as a general printer.

As for brands...
- Canon and HP is where it's at, IMO.
- Avoid Epson (cheaper models with 4 ink cartridges) and Brother at ALL costs.
- Dunno about Lexmark.

HP? The cartridges are WAY too expensive.
Not really, at least here the price is around the same as for the other brands.
Plus, they also have the XL cartridges which kind of make up for that.

Bad move because all of the cartridges included with the printers on sale have only 1/3 - 1/4 of the ink when compared to the stand alone cartridges.

I'd just advise to avoid inkjets in general. This is what colour laser printers at work are good for Wink
