20.2GB download. 1.7GB of broken/missing archives. Enough parity files to fix the damage.

I was talking to Werelds about it on Skype and he guessed the time to PAR before I'd even mentioned it. 3 bloody hours Crying or Very sad Oh well, it's done... and hey, free games? I'm not going to bitch too much - I just thought it was funny given the name of the app in question Very Happy

It's mainly a hard disk bottleneck. Buy an SSD.

1.7 missing GBs is a LOT, too.

HAH! the QP task was running off my WD Caviar Black. The only drive faster would BE an SSD (or at least a 10k SCSI or Raptor) Laughing Yeah, it was missing seven 250MB archives. Annoying as piss >_<

quickpar is single threaded, there are minimum 2 multithread versions of par2 (commandline only) try them
and why are you doing par manualy?

Because for some reason, the autopar and extract functionality of Grabit (which is what I use, I don't care for SabNZB thank you) has ceased working.
