Inspired by Griselda Blanco Restrepo, known as the Black Widow or Cocaine Godmother, was a Colombian drug lord who was prominent in the cocaine-based drug trade and underworld of Miami, US, during the 1970s through the early 2000s, and who has also been claimed by some to have been part of the Medellín Cartel.
watched it, was ok, but the main actress was miscast i think, she looked way to weak and the sudden strength changes were not bilievable, bad storytelling and to much recycled locations
Sofia Vergara and Netflix are being sued by the family of Griselda Blanco, the Colombian drug lord that Vergara portrays in an upcoming miniseries on the streaming network. Blanco's son, Michael Corleone Blanco, is one of the plaintiffs who filed the suit in a Miami-Dade County Court last week.
According to court documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight, the family says they did not authorize the use of their images and want to block the series from airing.
