My folks recently moved and in the process they dumped all the old VHS's, that no one actually watches anymore, on my lap. Not that I need them either, but it sure is fun to look them through before trashing them for good. Commercials and stuff like the old FilmNet ads are the best parts since most of the movies/series I have on DVD/BR/rips already. And since I practically never bothered to buy my own cassettes, but just liberated some from my parents whenever I needed, most of them are marked like this: (no strikeout tag support here btw., kinda fail) Clearly I already had impeccable taste as a kid. Good job, younger me self high-five Now I just need to figure out which ones had the porn movies I taped in secret.

Actually few of the cassettes were stuck in their cases because of some black gunk, but that must've been my brother spilling coke on them or something because I don't think VHS cassettes can leak anything - no matter how old - if they're stored in normal room temperature.

Recently found some old VHS tapes containing different movies I had taped during the '90s. So I decided to check them out and god damn, the quality is horrible. Some dont even work anymore.

Reminds me of my childhood friend. As a young teenager he was. He was smart enough to record porn on family fun days tape Razz

I threw most of my collection of tapes when I noticed the only thing they did was collect dust for more than two years... Crying or Very sad

If the unfortunate even happens and bluray ripping is banned from the internets, I'll just hug the VHS tape player and go in the shower. Laughing
