I'd take that myself.

That fiesta sounds like what I imagine an assclown would sound like.

Well, at least it doesn't sound like a wind up toy, and it's making 750hp naturally aspirated.

I would say it is vastly more interesting then the Veyron, or any number of other cars as of late.

Once again, it's only boring because you can't afford it. I love my cheap fast cars - But I would never claim they outrival something like the McLaren F1 or One-77. (Both of which are vastly more interesting then the Veyron, or SSC Aero)

I like the look of the One-77 because it's vastly functional. The weird front slits aren't there just to 'look cool' like you see on some shit body kit on a cheap car.

And you are a fool if you honestly would take a fiesta over a one-77 if someone gave you a choice, and you never had to pay costs on either car.

It doesn't matter how much money you dump into the Fiesta; It's going to sound like shit, and it's always going to look like the econo-box that it started out as.

As for your first comment - If you have the type of money to buy a Mclaren or One-77 you'll be able to afford a trailer to bring the car to a track, and rent the track out for the day if you choose to do so. Doesn't mean you can't just cruise around in it though.

Which is another thing the 650hp Fiesta wouldn't be able to do. You can't casually cruise around in a car that heavily modified without feeling like you've been ass raped. The entire point of ultra-expensive cars like that is that they perform so well, while still remain 'civil' and comfortable about it.

For 10 grand I could get my Speed 3 to 500whp easy. Doesn't mean I would do it though. Because in the end it wouldn't sound, or look good doing it.

I understand where you are coming from - But the point is that if you have the money for the car - It's definatly worth the money.

problem is i don't need to compensate for something i already have, that's where we are different Wink

We live in the same world.

You can't appreciate the more expensive things in life. I don't have money for most of that shit either.

Doesn't mean i'm going to knock on it for being so expensive.

The bottom line is if you have that type of money - A million pounds on a one-77 is -nothing-. It would be like 10 grand for me, and buying a used car.

As for me, a car is always more then a 'utility'. It's more then transportation. It's functional artwork. It's a collection of some of the most advanced engineering in the world. These things I can appreciate, and it is why some cars cost vastly more then others.

I do realize that some people treat cars just as they would their dishwashing machine. Some people just don't give a fuck. That is fine. Realize though, that a car is capable of being more then just a 'utility'.

The DBS is an outstanding car, and one of my favorites. It isn't anywhere near as lightweight, nor is the engine in the DBS anywhere near as tuned or refined as the one in the One-77. 750hp from a 7.3l V12 (And done 77 times with a full warranty..) is incredible. Yes, there have been racing engines N/A that have higher output - But they weren't produced on the same scale, and they aren't going to be as reliable.
