Just came back from optophotography (they photograph the back of your eyes (bloodvessels)) and they give this stuff in your eyes 30-40 minutes before that opens the pupil 100% (my eyes look really scary, just huuuuge black pupils) and ever since that the world has been a shimmering bloom effect to me where slightest light source became super sharp. It really looks like everything with any kind of light reflecting off it or being emitted from it is bloomed, with blurred halo effects and HDR effects. Quite trippy.

Looking out through the slit between two window blinds (bright blue sky) and it's like a blue lightsaber Laughing

Will be like this for another ~3 hours before it wears off. Smile

Trust me, it's also bad looking into your eyes now. Everytime I have to talk to someone with those biiig black pupils, my eyes just get wet like swimmers' balls.

Btw, grats on HDR eyes.

Go play Crysis, even if your computer is not top notch. You're now the only human on the planet that has the ability to 'see' the game at max settings.

oh the drama frant lol..

I have this done for 8 weeks sometimes twice a year along with steroidal drops for iritis problems, its hardly making the world BLOOM effect haha, all it does is actually make your vision a bit blury for a short time and its yellow in colour normaly that just expands them so they can get a good look all around the back of the eye, it also relaxes the muscles of the eye allowing healing to occur.

Try that blur everyday for up to 8 weeks on and off while you weeeen urself off the steroids.. pain in the ass playing games...

No, this it probably different (no yellow color). They gave me two different kinds of eye drops to open the iris 100%. My eyes were completely black, thus being ridiculously sensitive to light. I was not exaggerating when I said that everything had a glow and everything was a LOT brighter. That's why they tell you to wear shades on your way home, and they were totally necessary.

So yes, everything "glowed" and had a bloom-effect. Every little bright reflection from the sun was amplified 10x.

Naturally the effect was less prominent when I got home with the window blinds closed, sitting in a semi-dark living room.

Yellow color is some kind of anesthetic when they measure eye pressure.

This one is rather effective if you want to experience the bloom again:
