My attention span is way to short to read that article, and then take that test.

I would never find something like that enjoyable. I took one glance at all the text I had to read, hit the next button, and realized I had to answer questions from the text on the prior page.

Not enjoyable.

That is my reaction.

Thank you for taking the time to participate Mchart. In the instructions it clearly stated that you will need to read a short text (about 600 words) I assume you didn't read the instructions. The short text is only there to be used for testing both applications. You could subsitute the text with anything else, the idea is self assessment, to move away from static multiple choice quizzes which doesn't reflect user's true knowledge as you can guess the correct answer. Your time and effort is much appreciated.

23 to go.

I did it ^^

Cool thing, altho I would never use it, because I have learned to learn things differently.

One remark: the sound when you 'take the letter' is really painfully annoying...

Thank you dingo_d.

You're right about the sound effect when taking a letter Surprised if your volume is set high, it could be a bit annoying.

whats the difference with your application.

if you dont know it in the basic you have 25% chance to be correct (if there are no minus points for each wrong answer).
In your application everybody can get some points for entering a letter or 2. Besides, you already know how long the word will be

It promotes thorough thinking rather than selecting an answer from a list. Yes you can get some points but it's more interactive and more interesting as there is an element of suprise because the users will be counting the number of letters for each answer. But you will never get the full points unless you know the correct answer.

See it in this way, which application would you like to use at school for revision? Personally I would go with the Enhanced Quiz because it makes it more interesting and it's based on points so I actually have an incentive when answering each question, to get the highest point in the quickest time. This is just me ofcourse. Think about it, wouldn't it be more interesting if you was competing with other students for the highest points?

Your opinions are important and will form the basis for my analysis. Very Happy
