I assume you're not planning to switch to SLI at any point right? Because that's still a major issue on the 775 platform, and capable motherboards are hard to find, not to mention overpriced Smile

You'll want to look for P45/X48 based boards. Things like Gigabyte's GA-EP45-UD3LR, or ASUS' P5E Deluxe (X48) or P5Q Pro (P45). X48 is the higher-end chipset of the two, and motherboards with that tend to have slightly better build quality overall Smile

No, that'll be videocard related most likely, not motherboard related. Can't test it for you, haven't got a single ASUS motherboard in the house :<

Also I have a weird issue with my current motherboard. If I start computer without VGA monitor cable plugged and then plug it in while PC is on, it won't get detected. I can only plug the cable if PC is off. Is that something normal in ASUS motherboards? I've seen this in two different mobos.

This mobo has onboard video chipset, maybe that's why it's "confused". There is a BIOS setting to select the video priority.

Ah, VGA has a point there. Didn't know the motherboard has an onboard video chip, check the BIOS like he says Smile

Titan Fenrir is cheap and fits on S775, and it's one of the best, if not the best, air-coolers out there Smile

Yeah makes sense, coolers are quite cheap nowadays, even a Fenrir only costs like 30-35 Smile
