that was my point its fugly finish he goes to the trouble to make a frame worthy of his time and then the final overlay is something that looks like the pants material of the cheeky girls.. geebus fucking christ please what a nob..
he could of light weight fillered that frame and sanded it smooth and sprayed it, would look much better.
The job was indeed well done, but the color was awfull. WAAAAAAAY to shiny for any eye to handle...
But i wonder what that real porche owner thought when he passed it hahahaha
I love that he used a top a profile with the cardboard... it was remarkably similar to the methodology used to 3D Model, down to where he decided to put the mesh.
Aww, I say respect where respect is due. That "kit-car" is phenomenal! The attention to detail is magnificent - ok so the colour is a bit "whoa!" but the idea is sound and hey, it's like having your own Flintstones car, only more stylish
Did anyone else notice the dual-pedal system? Like one of those pedal boats you find in holiday towns? Twice the foot power, you could easy get up to the lofty heights of 10mph

The faces of the chicks he picks up with that must be priceless. They think they're getting into a sweet ride and instead: "Ok start pedaling, babe!"
What the.. who ever said anything about comparing them?
And wow, you have taste in exotic cars, well so do I, since they're included in my "I like all type of cars"-mentality
But first off, saying Subaru is a "piece of shit Japanese junk" is oh-so retarded, since they, among most of the other Japanese manufacturers are anything but junk. You measure brand quality by their Le Mans attendance? Come on.
In that case, that's like saying "Hey, Peugeot is in the Le Mans-series, they're great!", when Subarus has, and still are, better quality-wise than Peugeot has ever been.
And since Audi seems to be in a whole different league than Subaru, isn't it weird that Subaru has (in Sweden and a few other countries iirc) is number one in customer satisfaction? Above BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Volvo etc etc.
And lastly, when Newty mentioned the Evo 8 and the Impreza, you said "If you're a driftfag" is pretty much all fail. Since they're both 4WD cars produced for the WRC, so only useable in drifting when RWD-converted, which there are only two or three drift team who has done it. But just because they're japanese, then yeah, they GOTTA be drifters

Touchy much? Relax. As you said, I really don't have much knowledge in cars that much, nor do I care to have. In the shithole I live in, cars are a waste of time. The only viable options are hatchbacks. And yes, for me an "exotic car" is a car that can be used in a race. What competition do these Imprezas and Evo 8s participate in? Just Rally, which involves fair share of drifting (or perhaps drifting is not the correct term I'm looking for?). For me this is far less interesting motorsport. And as I said, I see these cars every day - for me these are not exotic cars, so why would someone bother with making a fake shitty Imprezza? Who exactly is he going to imprezz? As for customer satisfaction statistics, they are as reliable as the Steam hardware surveys.
Just because you own one and love it, doesn't mean everyone has to like that crap, or even funnier, consider them exotic.
Is someone made uneducated statements about something you know alot about and was something that you considered as a big interest/hobby, you'd react the same way

Any car can be used in a "race" or rebuilt to work in just about any type of race, motorsport is soooo much more than Le Mans or GT-type racing. Besides, the most extreme classes are prototype/LMP-classes, and there the brand of the car means more or less nothing, since it has nothing to do with their retail lineup.

No, not just rallying, but they are most famous for being very successful rally cars. Since the WRC only allows cars that are in production as consumer cars, many manufacturers like Mitsubishi, Subaru etc, produced their cars with two intentions - being fast and quick road cars for the general public, and as great platforms to build rally cars upon. And even if you find rallying "less interesting", WRC is still one of the most skill-demanding motorsports in the world. And no, you clearly don't know what "drifting" means, since the so-called drifting in rallying you mention is not the same thing. Even though to the uninterested person it can look similar, since they are both "sliding".

I doubt you see Evo's and STi's every day, but that's another story.
And where do you get this strange fact from, that I've been saying that Imprezas are exotics Porsche holds a higher "brand prestige", since they are expensive, quick cars, and also at the same time more impractical and a hell of a lot more expensive to actually own and service and whatnot. Not once did I ever say that they should've made an Impreza or anything of the like instead of a Porsche.
If you want to talk impressive, then actual performance is what is impressive, not price. Buy a Porsche GT3, and a STi, then put the money difference between the two into the STii, and then see who is the fastest at different tracks. It will pretty undoubtedly be the STi in many cases.
The STi is imrepssive in itself as it is a 4-door sedan with excellent performance, and can still seat four people comfortably, and with reliability all year round.
And don't take this the wrong way, i still like Porsches as much as the next car enthusiast.

Uh, come on now.. I don't even think you believe that.. Surely you don't? Steam is a multi-billion dollar industry?

I don't own one, i used to
Calling it crap is just uneducated statements based on your own personal opinion. And we both know that opinion =! fact.
And again, not once have i ever called them "exotic".

I have only seen once a subaru impreza wrc look a like (with nice golden rims!) and that was strangely in Ankara. I doubt that you see them in israel that much more often... It's strange because I would NEVER EVER drive a nice car into that city, except I want to fuck up the bumpers and the bottom
But I'm sure that you don't like the Nissan GT-R's either... be it the new one or the R38...
I think Leo prefers the Michael Bay's of cars, instead of the really nice ones
Like I said, here in Israel, especially in the big cities, any car other than fuel-efficient hatchbacks are a total waste. So any car of these is a "Michael Bay" for us Israelis.
But hey, if you say that a Nissan is nicer than a Lamborghini, be my guest.
You're totally missing the point - a Lambo is a Lambo, nothing will ever change that, they are really nice, exotic cars, no-one is saying otherwise. But remember, Nissan also has a supercar on the market, the R35 GT-R, which is faster than both the Murcielago LP640 and the Porsche Carrera GT around the Nรผrburgring Nordschleife, the Lambo costing around $350k, the Carrera GT about $400k, while the GT-R costs around $70k.
So if you want a car which you can look cool in, and get looks from girls (so what, you're not gonna get liad anyway ), buy a Lambo. If you want to go a bit faster around a track and get your moneys worth, get a GT-R

You are missing the point, I'm not buying any car.
You miss another point, Japanese cars look B-O-R-I-N-G to me. I don't care about fuel efficiency when I fantasize about supercars, nor do I care about the prize.
