any of you ever installed an SSL plugin for mIRC?

That disclaimer is totally epic. You cannot chat with US people using the SSL plugin, cannot import the algorithm into the US. Cannot use it in Korea, Libya, Syria etc etc.

Btw, how the fuck can someone use itunes in a nuclear missile? Laughing A nuclear missile with a huge sound-box attached to pleasure the people that are to be vaporized ??

This is because the US forbids the use of encryption above the level that can be hacked in feasible amount of time. For example, When Windows 2000 was released, the highest level of file encryption was literally forbidden to use in the USA, because the NSA can't crack it. Kinda defeats the fucking purpose, doesn't it? I mean.. I thought the idea of encryption was so that it DEFIES decryption/hacking? The very nature of encryption is to keep the information safe from prying eyes!

Oh man... I love America.

Wasn't it that certain US made encryption technologies couldn't be exported?
Also the reason why Rijndael was developped?

Its not only encryption that cant be exported. Remember that story about Iraq buying a few hundred PS2 so they could create a "supercomputer"? Dont remember if the story was true but it just shows how smart people can turn almost anything into thingies that can be used for dirty deeds. Smile
