Sooooo my university FORGOT to send me out a replacement ID card, because mine expired. after going through all this shit of contacting them and them saying that i should already HAVE one because their records show my card should be up to date (which it WASNT), and them making me jump through fucking HOOPS and filling out forms and shit, i FINALLY get a letter from them today. I can feel the letter was kinda solid so YAY they sent my card.
open the letter.. its the card of some chick. what the fuck. WHAT THE FUCK.
i check the name the letter was sent to, its got MY name on it, its got MY correct ID number on it in TWO seperate places, and theyre not even REMOTELY similar to the details on this card, so i know i filled out the form correctly. how the fuck...what the fuck.. ARGH I NEED A FUCKING ID CARD WHAT THE FUCK.

i wouldnt worry man , shit like this happens here most of the time
people get their cards with someonelse's picture and they don't really mind , as long as it's valid and the destination is correct , a picture is a mere formality . but in your case , fuck , dumbass secretaries aren't doing their jobs right.

hah, university bureaucracy, tell me about it 
So i graduated in july 2008, and was supposed to start working there end of september 2008. So we are september, official proclamation, we get our official diploma. I get a phonecall 2 days later from the university "we need a copy of your official diploma".
First WTF moment, because a lot (around 20% or so @ our faculty) of graduated students stay to do a PhD or some sort of research thing in the university; you would imagine they make copies themselves before handing out the diplomas to the students because it saves them a lot of time and saves us a lot of time. Especially because a lot take some months off after graduation in july and only come back in october, november or so to start working.
Anyway, i take a copy, bring it to the bureaucracy factory. They loose it, i bring another copy 3 weeks later. Ok, we are december, another phonecall "you are still not enrolled in the university PhD program, only few days left". So i am starting to panic a little bit, because i do not want to lose a year because of some bureaucrats... I check at my faculty "You are enrolled", so i go to the central administration "you are not enrolled" fun fun fun. I go back to the faculty, they print a letter, i have to get autographs from some profs etc, i go to the central administration with the letter. They are heavily confused....
Ok, 2 days later, i get a phonecall "we apologize, you are enrolled since september, but when i open the file your name shows up as 'temporary enrollment' but when i press the down arrow on the computer it shows you are enrolled Yeah, i guess that must have been hard to find out in those 3 months and a zillion phonecalls.
In the meanwhile, they also screwed up the terms of my contract and something with my taxes as well. Forgot how that exactly went, but that one is beneficial for me, so i am not complaining about that. ..

well first day back after 'study break'... right... lots of study ..
anyway.. try again.. went to some lady who told me to go to the student services reception place (which was the first place i tried, which failed), cept this time the woman hooked me up with someone she knew who worked there that knew what she was doing.
5 minutes. five FUCKING MINUTES and i had my new card. 2 MONTHS of bullshit, but ONE woman who knows what shes doing, FIVE FUCKING MINUTES... ffffffuuuu: D

got a call today.. turns out the chick had my card and finally turned it in and they only just called me today to tell me that they have my card and its ready for pickup.
