I never carry an umbrella, humans are not made of sugar u know.
Same goes for smokers - if u follow one walking down a sidewalk, you either have to get in front of him or go the other fucking side of the street.

I know you're joking with me but I'd like to address it anyway just so it's there.  I'm not saying smokers shouldn't smoke anywhere, I'm just saying that it's extremely annoying when I am in the buss stop together with other random folks and then some dickwad comes along and starts chain smoking inside of the buss stop with no common sense whatsoever. If I saw someone smoking inside a buss stop I obviously wouldn't enter it and wouldn't think it natural for that person to step outside, however, if I am inside of the buss stop and someone comes along, I expect that person to take his shitty habit outside so I don't have to use my medicine that also happens to be expensive.
Another thing that irks me about smokers is when I enter a hospital and I see some idiot smoking right outside the entrance, and right behind him there's a sign on the wall saying smoking is prohibited. It's just mind boggling how these fuckwads think.  |
What pisses me off are scared ass Swedes who would rather say something about it on a fucking forum than tell the person smoking about it. I mean seriously? Could it hurt to just talk to the other person? I mean, could it hurt? Instead of just assuming that he's a douschebag, everyone makes mistakes and have other things to think about. I'm pretty sure that if you told the guy smoking that you have asthma and ask if he could step away a few meters while smoking.
If he tells you to fuck off, or doesn't listen. Then fine, he's a douschebag. Just don't be so afraid to ventilate your opinion.

But I do agree with you fisk, it is a very typical Swedish attitude to just whine about it and not say/do anything. It's the same as when you're in a cinema and people are talking. People look at each other, they're annoyed and yet they don't say anything... I'm very vocal when shit like that happens, I'm not violent or anything, I'm no tough or intimidating guy, but at least I tell people when they're doing something wrong. |
I'm pretty sure that's not exclusive to Swedes.
