You Europeans and your booze.....
I hate booze. I don't mind the occasional drink or two or every so often getting drunk but I'd rather smoke a joint or pop some kinda...."feel good" drug 
But thats me. SOOOO many alcoholics in my family and I used to drink EVERYDAY, 40 ouncer of whiskey, from 14-19.....now...unless its a premium liquor, the smell and taste make me sick. One shot of CC (Canadian Club which is like the main Rye here....that and Crown Royal) and I feel like I'm gunna yack.
For a long time now, I haven't drank. Only recently, I've started drinking but its the good shit. From whiskey/cognac and premium vodka (can only drink 2 types of vodka and they are expensive as fuck) to expensive wines, thats what I drink.
And before anyone calls me snobby, its not that. Its cheap wine (like those 30-80 bottles) give me bad heartburn and make my stomach sick. Same goes for cheap whiskey/cognac and vodka.
I can't help it.....they make me feel like complete shit and usually make me heave my guts out.
For those of you who drink alot (European, North American, doesn't matter), what kinda booze do you drink?
I'm sure Europe has way better alcohol than NA. Cause all are good booze, I assume, is imported from Europe. I think my 2 favourite vodka's are Russian, thats what I was told but they are premium, top of the line.
I'd love to go to France, sit at a Cafe or whatever the Parisian's call bars and just drink good French wine.
I've had Mexican wine, Italian wine, Greek wine and French wine and French is the best wine in the world if you ask me.
So, what kinda booze do you Euro's drink?

Vodka is my drink. I probably drink too much of it though. Also like you were saying, i only like to drink the good brands, it helps with hangovers and just tastes better. Personally i like Red Square or Smirnoff

if it's bottled beer, then becks. if it's a 2l bottle for home, then skol.
occasionally wine (preferably home made, the store bought ones are usually either cheap and shitty or expensive and not worth it) and even more rarely tequila.
vodka, cognac, gin and other shit like that: no, because they taste and smell like crap and i'm not paying 30$ for something just a bit more palatable.

Never had red square...but Smirnoff is a shit brand man, no offence bud.
2 best vodka's (expensive tho), Silent Sam and of course, Grey Goose.
I usually drink GG, but in a pinch I will drink SS.
They taste like water to me. Faint hint of alcohol but they go down like water man.
Pour a water glass of GG, and sip it over 2 hours (you drink a water glass of ANY booze in under an hour and your gunna get trashed) and you feel good, really nice buzz, no puking.
I always have a bottle of both in my house. I don't drink everyday or every week but occasionally, me and woman will be chillin in for the night and I'll just get the....craving I guess to drink. So I pour a water glass of GG and chill for a couple of hours.
And my girl, she only drinks fine spirits. She drinks scotch (I can't stand scotch unless its a 10+ year old single malt) and cognac and shit but its all fuckin expensive shit. She has a bottle of cognac that cost...I dunno how much it cost exactly but I know its over 200 bucks. I'll I have a reg glass of it from time to time but I don't like it.
Once month I buy a nice, aged french wine (fuckin expensive frog bastards.....they charge tons of money for the wines I like at the store and I dont know wine....I know any wine thats french and costs over 150 bucks is good so I go to the store and I get one of the floor people to get me the shit).
I don't care if its a Cab or o whatever kind as long as its smooth, tastes good and doesn't make my chest burn or give me heartburn.

Why is that? I have no school tomorrow...and my math class has been canceled for next 2 weeks!
my mom will come home soon! can not wait for tomorrow, workers will finish doing basement and i will move there, my own kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom just all for me and no one else!
going to buy beer cooler on friday!
EDIT : I forgot to mention that bedroom is soundproof!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will be 20 in june!...my sister is pretty cool, I go to the liquor store with her, I pay with my credit card and she just shows her ID just in case
they don't ask for for ID when I go to beer to local deli anymore...i was there couple times with her or my father and once I even showed ID of one of my sister friends that is 27 years old
my mom bought half of galoon of Finlandia last week and I just drunk almost half of it:(((

Dude, coming home from work/school and kickin back with a few drinks or if your into ganja, smoking a few spliffs....its natural. Stress relief. Gets your mind off school work or if you work, work.
I come home and have a couple glasses of wine (girl got me into it).
Relaxes you so you can enjoy the night.

And then there are days where we have to get alot done and at 7am (we start at 7:30) I get a call from one of those two guys and they give me some bullshit excuse why they cant come in. So its up to me and my 3 guys to pick up the slack and shit.
Like those guys are my helpers. Not gunna go into what they do cause it doesn't matter but essentially they are my assistants, they are young (excluding my lead hand who is like me and works if he has a horrible flu) and young guys always want time off...they don't get paid when they take a day off so I don't get it.
Both those guys have used their last chance. I give people 2 chances. 3rd chance, they are gone.
They phone in saying they are sick and then the next day they come in fine.
Everytime I'm sick and have to take an unscheduled day or 2 off, I go to a walk in clinic if I can't get into to see my Doc and get a note. That way, the boss or whoever you work for knows your not bullshitting.
These guys haven't produced a note.
And I can tell they aren't sick. So they have used up their 2 chances.
Next time, FIRED!
I hate laying off or firing guys who work hard but the company needs to lay people off because the company doesn't have enough work to keep x amount of people. But assholes like the guys I described, FUCK THEM.
I took this week off. plus my company observes "Easter Monday". So me and the 5 guys who work for me have this week off plus Monday.
And those 2 guys are party guys. So no doubt they are gunna min get trashed Sunday and Monday. If Tuesday I get a call with some bullshit excuse, Wednesday, I'm gunna work em like a fuckin Ox and then 5 mins before quitting time, gunna fire em. And I don't like em that much.
The other 3 guys work hard, always come in, sick or no. Hell, I've had to tell my lead hand to go home cause he was so sick. And one of the other 3 guys broke 3 fingers and showed up at work and started cutting steel and I said man...take the week off, heal a little bit and then come back. And the guy still didn't want to cuz he thought he'd lose his job cuz I'd have to call a temp agency and get someone to fill in for him. He didn't want to lose his job. So I reassured him that he's not gunna be fired or layed off or anything.
And eventually, after 20 minutes of this guy trying to convince me he could work I told him "Dude, go home, you have 3 broken fingers, you cant lift steel and shit. Heal a little bit, come back Monday and your on light duties for least 2 weeks and no pay cut". He spent 5 mins thanking me and took the time off, did the light duties and once he was good, guy worked like a fuckin horse.
But those two guys, Omar and Dave......unless they provide a Doc note saying they were sick, they're gone next time they take a day off cuz they are "sick".
Btw, sorry for the little rant just its been bothering me for a little while...I find writing things out helps
