If any Iced Earth fans here, what do you think of the new singer? He's hell of a lot better singer than Tim was, perfect replacement of Barlow

I was fairly impressed with new album, since I don't really like Stu in Into Eternity. However I would really like to hear how he would sing Gettyburg trilogy. Owens nailed that song perfectly imo.

That song is quite good. I'm not really a fan of Iced Earth (simply because I didn't listen much to them), but there are songs that I really love from them, being one of them... and if I was to compare the new singer with the old one in this song I would definately say that the new one is worse. In general though, I can't say I prefer the old singer... I can't say I prefer the new one either actually. What I do prefer is Hansi Kursch in , which is basically Iced Earth + Hansi Kursch as vocalist.

The new album is quite different from the old ones but the singer is definitely talented, a worthy replacement imo

I love melancholoy, it's just pure epic.

Have you ever listened to Damien?

I did now. Brilliant song, I especially loved the intro.

He's surprisingly good, but I still much prefer Barlow.
