A Kiai Master offers a 5000 dollar challenge that he can beat any MMA fighter.

It would seem that Kiai does not involve actually striking your opponent with your arms or legs, you do it with your mind. Or so this poor delusional old "master" thought.

He clearly couldn't believe what he experienced. None of the moves he made had any effect on his opponent as opposed to how his students reacted. Strange huh?

From the comments:

Quote:
Student 1:"Should we tell master that we were faking?"

*Master gets ass kicked*

Student 2:"...Naah"

Truth is never sad. It sets you free from the shackles of ignorance and removes a life of being a stupid fuck. I know that this old guy who probably has spent the better part of his last 20 years will live a better life because of this. He truly has walked around thinking he has some kind of magical power. It don't exist. A fist in the face and $5000 taught him a lesson that is invaluable.

Yes, yes I'm back.

Looks more like a bar brawl than a "master kung fu fight", but kung fu like wing chun and most chinese martial arts are like ballet, pretty to watch, but useless in a fight.

Until this fight the 'magical power' DID exist, to him. I doubt shattering his dreams and beliefs will let him have a better life.

I know it's stupid that he thought he had some kind of powers but that doesn't matter if he was happy with it.

Whats more interesting to me is not the one delusional old man, but the large group of his "students" which are willing to spend time and money (and god knows what else) to "train" with him.

You cannot shatter an already broken mirror. Finally he can move on with his life, not being burdened by living a lie.

Ignorance is bliss, eh? I think that rationale is used too often as a justification for doing stupid shit.

He wanted them to take part in his lie, there are tons of people who gladly give away their free will for a world of lies and ignorance in the pursuit of happiness. Some of them even commit collective suicide to reach a state of higher existence, and all of them would be better off doing something non-delusional.
