Just drink plenty of water before going to sleep and you'll be fine most of the time.

Definetely worse for me. In my early 20's I could go days without sleep on really heavy benders with little to no hangover when I eventually did get to bed and wake up again.
Now, I'n my early 30's..I get terrible hangovers that can last for 3 to 4 days after 5 or 6 (OK maybe 7) pints in the pub. It's horrible.

I have had about 12 years of binge drinking on every Friday night, a 75cl bottle of vodka. Hangovers do get worse.

First time(and only) I had a hangover was when I was 19 and just went through .7 of vodka and a bottle of liquoir. The hangover I had made me cry, never touched alcohol from then on. If I would have any more I would probably euthanize myself.

Hangovers do get worse. But the majority of people getting older drink less and learn to stop drinking when they've had enough (which keeps hangovers down). Obviously there are those that keep binge drinking into their 30'ies and beyond. We usually call them alcoholics or chronic bingedrinkers, the latter being a symptom of someone stuck in their teens as far as maturity is concerned.

In my early twenties I got bad hangovers from the yeast in special Belgium beers.
That is a passed train station, I got immune for that.
I guess when you grow up most people drink less and less and become less used to alcohol.
That is prolly the main reason why hangovers seem to get worse other then the fact that your body also becomes weaker as you grow older and the possibility that certain organs (liver) can become damaged.

Binge eating or drinking (promiscuous sex, substance abuse...) is more a symptom of lack of respect for oneself.

Fuckin right they get worse. I will be 33t his year and fuck, a hangover kills me. When I was in my 20's, I could drink/get high all nite, stay up all nite and then go work a 12 hour shift.
Now, if I don't a good solid 8 hours of non-drunk/high sleep a nite or I'm useless at work lol

i always have a hangover, fucking always. even 2 or 3 beers kills me the next day. now if i can sleep in, small amounts arent that bad. ive always needed a lot of sleep and even the smallest amount of alcohol reduces my quality of sleep.
on the drinking water thing. ive tried that numerous times. staying up for 2 hours after going out doing nothing but drinking water (+- 3 liters). still have massive hangovers and i get up even earlier cause i have to piss like a horse

Yeah, for me it's also became harder to endure all the head and stomach pain. But these days I don't get wasted like I did when I was younger. I drink only with friends and mostly beer (fine Belgian ones or good Croatian made ). Last time I drank myself was more than 6 months ago, and I was in bed the whole Sunday... I just wanted to die... That taught me well

In my case, I haven't had hangovers till around 25. I got dehydrated but I didn't understand the fuss people were making after drinking...
Nowadays it's a differnt story. A moderate hangover is 1 day of suffering, a decent one lasts a full weekend, an a horrible one means around 3 days of "gaga" experience.

Give it time. Well either time or you aren't drinking enough.
