Hey guys
over the last 2 weeks i had 2 temp bans one after another, for very little reason, the first was saying 'no' to a new member on a flame rant and the second for advertising.
Ive been around here for years (and I mean YEARS, both in this name and my previous one), I dont post much, but what I do post is 90% valid or helpful the 'advetising' ??? oh you mean the link to prizerebel in my sig which has been there for about 2 years, so I get a temp ban after 2 years for something in my sig which was already discussed in the forums about a year ago and was agreed I could put it there since it isnt advertising this points to me its obviously a new moderator, otherwise it doesnt make sense, theres people flaming and ranting and racism and name calling all over and I get two temp bans in a 2 week period 1 for saying 'no' to a new member and the other for an issue which was raised and sorted out a year ago.
so my question is who was it? was that really nessessary?
to be honest I have an idea its a new mod with a personal beef against me, if I'm correct and you do have a problem with me I suggest you take it up with me via msn/steam etc etc instead of taking it out on me here by temp banning, its not professional.

I do follow the rules Horror and Ive been around here alot longer than most. The 'no' thing is silly and the advertising thing is NOT advertising and it was discussed and resolved a year ago if not more.
So....its a mystery then. Bad form if you ask me.

Hey, you're not the only one temp banned without a valid reason. It really annoys me that you don't get to know who banned you, there's no way to know if you put somebody in his/her place in a discussion and you were banned out of spite (happened). Cowards the bunch of them (anonymous modding is lame).

I got banned for a day without any reason given, which was a bit lame... Not showing the mod's name is fine by me, but it would be nice to know what the offense was so you'd know not to do it again.

It is human to make mistakes and another thing, the few active mods here are overloaded with work.
But maybe someone who gets perm or temp banned should have the right for an appeal.
That should be handled discretely behind closed doors.

you've been banned before for using racist terms, so no a PM doesn't always work.

I was the one who banned you on the 10th.
It was not just for "saying 'no' to a new member", but the way you did it. You called attention to his newness, which serves only to create an atmosphere hostile to new members. I don't want such an atmosphere on this site. Your arguments don't become more valid the more posts you have or the longer you've been registered, so there is no need to dismiss someone's arguments by mentioning a low post count, it jsut makes you look like you're trolling. Added to that: some of your other posts in that thread were also of very low quality, for me that was enough reason to ban you.
