Anyone know if its possible to stream whats on your screen to other people over lan/internet?

What I need is a way to let people see what i play/watch on my screen without the need of uploading it to youtube or what ever..

possible?

I think what you need is a remote desktop software.

UltraVNC is the best open source alternative out there, afaik.

Alternatively, to merely record your screen, you can use Camtasia or Fraps.

VLC ( but I never got it working FU!!!!) or Skype (it's pretty easy with skype but only I person can watch at the same time).

Or you could install a software that captures your screen and emulates a webcam -> justin.tv

I think manycam should be able to capture your screen.

I've been trying manycam - but so far it's only worked using msn and the framerate is awful.

Thanks for the suggestions Smile I just tried Procaster and that one works quite good - however, to get full use of my speed I need to pay LOADS if I decide to use procaster...something Im not prepared to do and cannot afford for that matter either
