Just got paid via a wire transfer from the states and the £ to $ rate is 1.4 Shocked Shocked

Thats a drop of .2 in a single day, anyone know what the hell caused that?

Makes me wonder if the £ is being raped by bankers to make the UK population scream "go € today before we're bankrupt". UK staying out of EMU is a major horn in the side of EU.

Oh how I wish EU would dismantle itself and Europe return to common trade agreements instead of trying to build a Mega Europa with centralised power. Sad

so shitty countries like greece can devalue the euro? shitty countires like spain and whoever else is on the brink

were better off with the pound its still worth more than the euro and will probably remain so.

£ will recover after the next elections with labor stop printing billions to give to the banks, its no suprise the currency is losing value when they are making more of it.

Its been fucked for a while, I remember a few years back where it was almost £1 = $2. It'll recover eventually but I woulden't exchange anything for less than 1.6 if you can help it.

And yeah, you can keep your shitty Euro!
