I never understood all the hate for Cedge as it seemed like most of the time he was being attacked by people for saying something bullishly (almost like AnimalMother). Did I miss something?

Well you are welcome to read his posting history to see the bullshit he writes. There is an example above. And for someone to write so much bullshit, he has to be trolling.
I do not remember AM ever trolling aside from one time when he was angry consoles were slagged.

Well I never said AM trolled, but with Cedge maybe link to a thread where he did so I can read it properly. He has about 1100 posts and I'm not in the mood for reading all of them willy-nilly, particularly when you must already have an idea of which threads he trolled in.
But I must admit most of the times Cedge's name has come up in the PC Games arena I've found them to be good posts - not at all troll-like, only bullish. I think most people have stepped out of line or said some stupid shit on the forum at some point, especially when provoked, so it seems weird that a name I associated with 'good posts' got burnt so easily not long ago. So that's why I'm wondering whether I've missed something in particular.

With him it is always, a 6-month delay over console version is always justified for "optimizations reasons", as opposed to piracy or drm, because "there is no reason to believe they would lie" and similar crap. Or how people are not entitled to ask games be release complete and not split up in tiny DLC packages for cash whoring. Or how games these days are not dumbed down for console dumbos, eh, sorry, streamlined for accessibility.

...but there's a difference between trolling and simply having a different opinion. I don't see anything that strikes me as trolling, I just see someone who holds a different position. Not necessarily wrong, not necessarily right. If there was anything I'd hold against him it is the put downs. Combined with his bullish attitude it's obviously not a nice combination. I guess he should have been told to nip that in the bud, but trolling? I'm not seeing it. |

My last legitimate account got banned by a fascist female moderator for 'trolling' even though I wasn't. So I wanted to show how would a real trolling look to the forum with multpile accounts/sock puppets etc. : )

You don't have to, there is a version that works as an extension for Firefox. But GreaseMonkey by itself is safe - it does nothing but run JS scripts you load into it. So if you are careful with the scripts, it will enhance your browsing experience greatly.

This is just semantics for the server, as that sub-domain is now leading to the same place and port. It used to be with the port specified, but garus fixed it. It is more "pretty" now and easier to remember, but it doesn't matter when it comes to code.
Also there are two scripts, but they do two different things. One is for custom titles, the other for custom fields. (The extension combines them both, plus a small extra into one.)
