So i have this question related to uninet.
Ive been told the trafic is beeing watched by some american company or whatever.
The school have closed my connection once due to downloading.

Anyone of you have any idea if SSL and maybe usenet will do the trick or will they still be able to see what you are downloading?

Thx

If you use Usenet with SSL they wont see what you do but they still can log traffic.

Or use this, so they can't see what you are downloading, but they will still see the quantity of downloads..

Wikipedia wrote:
Protocol encryption (PE), message stream encryption (MSE), or protocol header encrypt (PHE)[1] are related features of some peer-to-peer file-sharing clients, including BitTorrent clients. They attempt to make traffic harder to identify by third parties including internet service providers (ISPs).

In your case, find a torrent client, that encrypts all the connection (MSE) not only the headers (PHE).

i think you ll have to uncheck "allow incoming legacy connections" to make it fully encrypted

edit: moved to general, because this is in no way "scene related" Wink

there is more from Enable, better is Forced, and unchecking the checkbox too, but not sure if it encrypts all the connection
