Been so happy a long time using filesharing, but last few months i got 2 letters from lawyers, wanting money for companys having the copyrights for some movies i donwloaded. Nice, now they make money by farming popular torrents for IPs...
So now i am sick of filesharing...is there some acceptable alternative or anonym way? Tried L2P and other privacy nets, but they are horribly slow due to the incryption.

Protocol encryption (PE), message stream encryption (MSE), or protocol header encrypt (PHE)[1] are related features of some peer-to-peer file-sharing clients, including BitTorrent clients. They attempt to make traffic harder to identify by third parties including internet service providers (ISPs).
In your case, find a torrent client, that encrypts all the connection (MSE) not only the headers (PHE).

Its the time how long (binary) posts stay in newsgroups. Astraweb and Giganews for example have about 560 days but you pay for that. This is why i said "for the first month or so to check things".

I have to disagree, In my case yes - it only avoids shaping, but if you use a torrent client, that encodes all the connection, not only the headers - noone will know what you're downloading..

What happens when you connect to an anti piracy corporations PC and start downloading data from them? That's how people get caught.
