So this internet connection I have is a so called 1 mbps unlimited connection BUT they make the speed 50% of 1 mbps if we download more than 100gb.
WTF IS THAT SHIT??? How is that an unlimited connection even?? I guess their infrastructure is so shitty that they call it "Fair Use policy" so that everyone can download "fairly". LMAO, are they for real? I mean, come on. It's just 1mbps and they are capping it so badly. Sucks that the state of internet in India is so frigging poor.....
I would jump ship but only the other competitors don't even have too many unlimited plans right now. So I'm going to have a nice "talk" with the asshat nodal officer of my city come monday morning. That little bitch who didn't answer my email even. 
Btw, I pay something to the tune of 39$ for this crap ass connection.
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Get a better ISP and a better deal.
100GB is about 9 days, 24/7 of maxing out your net connection. Do you leave your PC on overnight? If so, you might be better off upgrading your broadband and saving money on electric.
$39 dollars sounds expensive for what you get, 1Mb.

its the same for me on 8mb line... i get which i was never told btw (unlimited) 100gbs per mnth quota...
if you go over that quota (they email ur bt email address if ur on bt isp broadband) btw, i dont use theyre email address lol i use gmail etc.. so never got to see these mails, never have done for 3 years with them..
So if you go over the 100gb before its reset for the mnth, they limit your ass down to 80kb almost rate of download for a mnth from that time you went over lol, not just till it resets but a whole mnth bwhahaha...
BUT... that is only between peak times lol, so if u work all day ur fucked to come home as from 5pm to midnight that is when they cap u for ur overuse.. anything between midnights and 5pm next day you still get full rate...
but to most people its fucked up casue they are sleeping or at work, so que que que is only way to do things with such stupid capping here..

Well, with DHCP (as in no credentials needed to connect), it is worth trying to change the MAC address in the router. Every once in a while I see a little speed drops in NewsLeecher when I download, so I just randomize my MAC and speed flies again.

Thats a good point, cause when i was using "theyre own" router hub shit first off, i thought my connection was governed by the hubs mac addy of the unit.. but since going to the netgear router and noticing I DONT need details apart from email address I guess to log on my connection, then that means mac address must mean shite?
Due to my netgear being totaly diff mac addy..
Are there any particular good ways of doing a mac change leo? Never ever had to bother before.. But if what u say is true and works that would be awesome lol.
p.s looked in router config but see no way of randomizing mac addy there... it states my mac address is set via basic or adsl settings in my route but the only thing i see in those, are obtain dhcp automaticaly and get ip address auto etc etc ..

I am using a custom firmware on my router, that allows MAC spoofing, and there is a button that randomizes the address.
Not sure about your router, but if you don't have such an options in the advanced settings, look into custom firmwares.

Shite, the problem is that I hardly have any options here. But I'm going to have a nice chat with the nodal officer... doubt that asshat can do anything but at least I'll let him have an earful.
