Hi fellow humpers,

I am going to a conference 15-19 Mar San Diego. I was planning to take some days off afterwards.

I was intending to get a rental car and go to LA 19th and watch an NBA match. 20-21 Sequoia/Kings national park and yosemite and 22nd san fransisco and then fly home.

But i just read the website of the parks and it appears to be in "winter conditions" Confused What are winter conditions in the parks, chains really needed? Can a US dude enlighten me a bit more plz? Dont want to get stuck with the rental car...

I am quite surprised because i visited Yoshua tree park last year in march and that was anything but winter-ish...

March in the US feels like a summer here in the UK.
