well uni, but whatever, its all the same crap. sigh. xmas break was nice while it lasted. booooo 
on the positive side, i only have to go in one day a week for a 3 hour lecture - hopefully that will go some way to easing the pain...

eh over here its 3 month semesters. the uni does a summer school semester OVER xmas, which is why the new semester starts now.
reason im grumbling i guess is because i graduated last year and now im doing a postgrad, so it just feels like another uphill battle, you know? its like not so bad when youre in the middle of something, but STARTING it is always the bitch.
im doing one 3 hour lecture at uni, and doing a research paper extramurally in tandem which goes double semester... has an exam in june and my research work i had in at the end of the year. dont know what to expect but its kinda daunting...

I dont understand what you whine about? When i went to school that was the best time of my life - Went to beach with girls and drink beer and gin.
Now the school is over - i have a sucky job (cause this economic decline bs) , need to work on weekends, i have a boss whos like Bill Lumberg.

well i guess i take school a bit more seriously... my goal is to go to uni and then get an education so i DONT have to work a sucky job on weekends. plus i need to have certain grades in order to continue my study next year.
anywho, what im taking is dis:
Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Administration
Endorsement : Management
and that'd lead on to a masters in management next year.
did my first class today... i rmean really, its just those initial nerves i think... how fucking terrible is the paper going to be, how are the others in the class going to be, how much reading, how interesting is it going to be etc etc... but yeah, first day went good, so im not really worried about it anymore, i think the papers going to be pretty fun and interesting.
also because the class is from 4 till 7, and there are no places open at that time in the building to get food n shit, she opens the teacher lounge for us for a 15 minute break half way through.
free hot chocolate = win

nooo, another MBA yuppie...
Anyways, chill the fuck down, it is only a master, no need to be flipping and stuff. Dont take yourself too seriously.
I took uni serious as well and i aced both my bachelor and master with great distinction (although my dad was whining all the time I should be going out less and do more 'serious stuff'). But whatever, party hard, study hard.
Enjoy your free times, because a good degree is mostly a one way ticket to long working days anywayz  (like X-mas 3 days off instead of an x-mas break.)
And enjoy your lazy schedule. When i was in my first bachelor year i had lab exercises 5 days a week 2pm-7pm (6) and when i was in my first master, they showed me the 'machine' to do those lame exercises semi-automated. Hah, wankers....
