just downloaded a scene release of bluray disc. there's only an .mkv file within the rars and no subtitle files (srs or whatever). Now the funny think is that there are subtitles, and apparently they're integrated inside the mkv file. They're not hardcoded, in fact by using KMPlayer i can enable/disable them.... Is this possible? can you actually integrate a subtitle file within an mkv file, or maybe there's something i'm missing here.... also, i wanna convert the mkv file into DVD format with convertx2dvd.... and i wanna have the possibility to choose whether enable or disable subtitles when i play the dvd on my tv player.... how can i do that if the subtitles are integrated in the mkv file?

sure you can. A MKV file is just a container. It can contain multiple subtitles, audio and video streams. If you want, you can even add your own or delete unwanted ones. just download MKVtoolnix and start up mmg.exe. Hardware: Ryzen 3700x, B450 MSI Gaming Pro carbon AC, GTX1080, 32 GB 3200 Mhz cas 14, 256 EVO SSD, 1 TB EVO SSD and 4 TB HDD. Console: xbox, wii and xbox 360

You can select which subtitle tracks you want in CX2D by opening the Source File(s) part of the Titleset tree view...

Notice there is a video, audio and subtitle track.

It should display all the subtitle tracks in here, you can select the ones you want.
