Ive got a laptop to reinstall xp on tonight, not had to use xp for a while anyone sudgest a recent build/scene release that works well, I will be using a legit home edition key if not i have another key for xp pro etc....

ummm pumpy ffs I need this pronto dont wanna spend all night fucking about lol got plenty to do..

Its a HP pavilion dv6000 model laptop

id put win7 on it but cant be sure it will be fine for the nvidia 6150 and sound etc etc..

and might as well utilize legit serial on the laptop..

i cant seem to find anything that looks remotely safe to install xp wise on usenet.. all looks dodgy mofo's

In fact Win7 is considered as a good OS for Netbooks so the HP shouldn't have any problems at all. If it's not fast enough just deactivate aero and it will work as fast as xp.

Indeed 7 will be more than fine on that laptop. In fact I have a similar one, only with a Mobility Radeon x1400, but it doesn't matter, the onboard 6150 will be just fine with AERO (thus much smoother experience than XP). And you should already know about the memory optimizations in Vista & 7, so it's a nobrainer to go with 7. Smile

ok downloading a version sudgested of win 7 at my digital life/daz loader info thread..

this will be less painful now with the network stuff issues i was having in xp on it..
