Hahahah, this game is hilarious.
Originally released for old school iPods (before touch and iPhone), this is a re-released version with more content and much better controls!
It's your basic SRPG/tactics fare. Deploy your troops and take turns moving them around and stabbing the enemy in the face. I'm sure there's a story in there somewhere too, who knows. Anyways, let's get to the fun part!
I took some screenshots from my first 10 minutes or so with it, here we go. 
Evil guy shows up to smack you around, steal your brother, etc.
Friendly guy shows up to hook you the fuck up.
Easy enough.
How the battles look/operate. Standard tactics gameplay here.
Craft your warriors from your music! Shit yes!

Sadly, Eminem was the one that spawned my strongest trooper... lol.

Well, there ya go. ;p This game seems like a lot of fun and a lot of laughs.
I've heard things like a higher playcount increases the strength of your troopers, sadly I just re-imported all my music and my playcounts are all zero, so I couldn't test it out.
I've also heard that if you play the songs that created your troopers while you're not playing, it will make them more powerful the next time you load the game, hah.
If I had to rate the first 10 minutes or so, I'd say it gets 4 out of 5 cool faces!
