This is a query on behalf of my friend. He has a modded pro console with IExtreme 1.5 (or 1.51 not sure). I gave him a patched copy wave3 patch copy of Modern Warfare 2 and GTA: EFLC and oddly it asked to install an update to play the game. We clicked on "Yes update now" and it proceeded to install the update, rebooted the console and came back up. Tried to run the game and it says the same thing to install the update. The funny thing is that with the HDD removed, the game works perfectly.
What could be the reason behind this and how to get it rectified? He formatted his HDD too and tried the process, but same issue. Any ideas? |
The reason is that you patched iso to wave3 which messed update on it. You can install that update manually from cd or usb drive.
