Been a fan of his for a long time now. However lately im more into his "daddy's" playing - Joe Perry's. They are both fucking GODS! Although Perry could have used Les Paul's more often (he uses all sorts of axes).

Still, Slash is not a songwriter and that's why i think Velvet Revolver sucks butt and why GnR went to shit after Izzy left. They couldnt write one good song (thank satan Axl is a good songwriter and delivered on the ChD album).
Anyway, Slash is an excellent guitarist. World would be empty without his playing - that is for sho'!
