/Rant start
So I just bought the Razer Lycosa a couple days ago and that it would be a decent gaming keyboard. Jesus holy fucking christ what a piece of shit it turned out to be. The keys are nice and soft, unfortnetley the keys have to be pressed down really hard meaning that if you just let go a little of the W-key you stop dead in whatever you were doing. -.-
Also, the stupid media touchpad keys do not work as they should. More then often it's happened that the fucking thing starts acting all erratic and just doing random things on it's own.
In other words, this was one of the worst things I have ever bought. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this bullshit piece of plastic. >.<

Send it back and get a refund. I still want to get one, eventually.

Same, though not the mouse. I'm using a MS keyboard from the Wireless 700 pack (mouse and keyboard) but I'm using my Logitech MX-518 mouse.
I don't see the point in paying £40++ just for a keyboard, it's silly. There hasn't been a ghosting problem on keyboards for years, and as for the multiple-keys idea -- who REALLY needs to press more than four keys at once?
In the end, you're just paying for the name and some silly gimmicks you're taught to think you actually NEED...

Well, I had the Logitech G15 and used it to it's maximum potential. It was sweet, the LCD gave me a quick view on Fraps FPS, core temps on CPU, time and general game info. It was a multifuncional keyboard.
Ofcourse there's nothing wrong with regular keyboards but I'm kinda picky when it comes to the feel of the keys when pressing them. The lycosa reminds me of the logitech DiNovo when it comes to the keys and I just loved the DiNovo (untill I spilled a bottle of coke on the mofo).
@Sabin
It's not silly to pay for things that you actually use, having a good ergonomic keyboard with features you use is awesome, you should try it. Having a quick way to change volume, change tracks and get info about yer computer is actually quite usefull.
Anyway, the razer lycosa is a big pile of steaming shit and like someone said, I'm gonna go and get a refund.

Offtopic, but there are no drivers for win7 64bit from Logitech yet, right ? Do the Vista64 drivers work fine ?
I have a G15 and it rocks, but ... after the upgrade it's handicapped, without the drivers.

Love my Logitech G11 & G9 combo.
I tried a Razor mouse a long time ago - felt cheap and flimsy - haven't touched em since.

i'm not into any of this gaming hardware crap but i will say this, logitech MX518 mouse is immense. I don't use any special hardware (10 year old keyboard here, filthy etc) but this mouse I could not live without tbqh.

Hehe, yeah, that's what I have as well. Logitech MX518 ftw ! I got it the same day that I got the G15 keyboard, I spent close to 100 euros for those 2, but I didn't regret it !

I read somewhere that only the macro keys on the left are back lit, is this true? Why would they add back lighting to the keys you'll be using the least, but not the rest of the board? Strange decision.

Newegg shows it at $90, compared to a fully backlit G11 at $58 All of Razer's stuff is overpriced imo.

I'm against those big G15-G19 keyboards (I'm not a gamer obviously) but they seem too crowded and that LCD on top seems a bit too much.
The only keyboard that's big and I have wet dreams about ( ) is Logitech Wave. I'm getting it pretty soon
The feel when you press keyes on that one is like touching a heaven Plus it has that play/pause buttons and I love those.
Now I have shitty neon keyboard, which has laptop like keyes, but it has play/pause/fwd and those multimedia keyes.

I'm waiting for these, Roccat knows quality and it took forever to develop this keyboard:
http://www.roccat.org/Products/Gaming-Keyboards/ROCCAT-Valo/
My mouse is Razer Mamba, coolest mouse you'll ever own the wheel however does not fit into the high price it MUST be better, Razer needs to burn their wheel blueprints and start over, make a descent wheel for once.
As far as keyboards go try Saitek Eclipse, it has the best and most comfortable keys I have ever tried, much better than logitech and microsoft keys imo.

This is the keyboard you all want,
http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/optimus/
nothing like putting icons on your keys for your ingame keybinding awareness.
I have no idea about release dates if it was or wasnt, but i remember i was watching either it was this one or a diff keyboard that does same stuff and it wasnt even near release even now..
still its a nice idea. I always thought it looked rather mac type ideals, and that we would see it on that platform first.
