having a shitty job builds character. just don't make a career out of it.
I worked doing garbage pickup (from back of a truck) during uni ... I wanted to quit that fucking job everyday for about 2 weeks before I learned to tolerate it.

I had a similar feeling when filtering bacterial fragment micelles through cellulose membranes in a microbiology lab and this old perverted consultant kept telling me what I was doing wrong while rubbing his crotch.
It may as well have been dish washing considering how repetitive it was.

I've been working since I was 15, alongside school/uni, at various jobs. I can't remember one job I really liked. Work sucks, get used to it. There were days I was serving drunks for 12-14 hours. But once the paycheck comes in, it's all good.

I would of thought a job like that you could just stick your ipod on and not have to listen to the twat whining all day?
