so I got this monitor from a friend (sold it to me cheap and i haven't paid yet lol)
so everything is nice but when I scroll on FF PC starts hiccing up
is it because of the high resolution? uses a lot of CPU too..
I got a e6750 2.66GHz
4GB of ram and a 8800GT

The native reso. on that is 1920x1200, right? Your system is more than enough for that so something else is gone awry.. Did you do the usual things, install the drivers, use the monitor auto-calibration and all that jazz?

everything is set, does it have something to do with the fact that I'm using HDMI instead of VGA/DVI ?
I noticed CPU usage gets higher when I scroll

it's due to CPU usage, at high resolutions thing get clogged up, CPU usage increases dramatically and stutters occur in audio
wtf
