In Revelation Trail, a frontier preacher's life is destroyed when a gruesome power consumes the land; he now must make the choice to give in to ruin, or find his purpose in the fight against the mysterious undead. Joined by the town lawman (a man with entirely different demons) the two men learn the extremes they’re willing to go to make it to the next day and the depths people will go to when they truly believe in something.
While the undead pose a serious threat in the film, we also experience the evils that the living are willing to commit against each other in order to survive and maintain order. The world is changing, and in the face of this, our heroes (and the rest of society) must decide how to meet that change. And like many characters of classic westerns before, not all will survive.
