it's a decent mobo, got it as a replacement for that p5b and it's pretty good
overclocks nicely, very cool 25c wtf?, cooler than any p43, p45 i tested so far
anyway here is the problem, whenever i install 4gig it boots but won't post, 3 gigs it's working fine
tried all kinda variations, 4x1gb, 2x1gb+1x2gb, nothing
brands tested: kingston, ocz, take ms
changing slots doesn't help either, officially it supports 4gb max
so here it is, have no idea wtf is wrong, latest bios installed oh and yeah for some wierd reason i get this
even tho cpu works and identifies correctly

I might be wrong on this, most likely am - but goto your bios screen and check how much RAM is installed there, i think that bootscreen relates to windows..and windows (32bit) only detects 3gig max, there is a way to make it detect 4..u have to edit something in a config.

Check the manual if you need to have memories with a specific bus speed. Try flashing the mobo bios perhaps the version you have has a bug with > 3GB memory.
Also, are you able to test 2*2GB inserting the memories in slots 1 and 3 or 2 and 4, enabling interleaved memory.

It could be due to not enough voltage to the memory slots.

I don't suppose the overclock has anything to do with the problem.
