I've played the SS games to death and I love them, but I can't help but feel this is so cheap of Croteam, isn't it basically the same game with higher res textures and more polygons? That's the feeling I get from the trailer anyway.
edit: Lol someone shoot me, I didn't notice this was an extremely well made community collaborated mod, props to them!
Be it as it may, Croteam is working on some "Unnamed" project for quiet some time now, so hopefully that's a new Serious Sam.
I believe that unnamed project is a more life like war like game, and I only ASSUME as much due to the concept art and shit they released for the engine being made

Bah, market is flooded with these games, we need another Serious Sam
SS First and Second encounter and SS2 is one of the best (or the best) fps I've played. Especially first encounter and that creature Zum'bul from planet Rasadnyik (or sth like that), omg it's funny to die for Zumbul is a plant and Rasadnyik (rasadnik) is Croatian for greenery and there are lots of examples I played and lold my ass off Croteam is the best! I can't wait for the third one!!

Yeah I noticed quiet a few easter eggs for Croatian people throughout the games. Too bad I don't speak Croatian. And yeah I agree all of serious sams are epic, most of humor is great (except a few failed attempts), but second encounter is my favorite. I finished it about 5 times in single player and 15 times in online coop after the game came out, and then another 10 times during various times up until now. These games just don't get old, I can keep replaying them every few months.
Aa fuck ye, good old SS1! i remember when i was playing this game when i was so drunk, part where there is some pill on the floor. After that it starts moving and some evil laughing comes from the pill, then serious sam "hahahahaha" or something like that Fucking dropped almost from my chair, was too funny
