From some spokesman or something, read at a news site. It is now Monday morning. 12am PST to be exact, and I have been allowed to tell you all something I know you all want to hear. If you don’t believe what I am about to say, just wait until about 10am PST for the official announcement. I feel so privileged to be having this opportunity to tell you what I am about to. So here it goes: I smell Gold, as LOTR: The Battle for Middle Earth is finished! It has gone GOLD today! After many months of waiting, the game is now finished and has been sent into the manufactures so that the game can be copied onto thousands of CD’s, placed into thousands of boxes, all to get it ready for shipping around the world on December 6th. Just two more weeks and we will have the game installed on our computers. What a journey that was wasn’t it? We did have a couple sad times with the release date of the game being pushed back; finding out Last Alliance was cut, etc. Nevertheless, we have so many happy memories now to remember. The great thing is, our first journey may have ended, but we still have many mountains to climb together, and MEMW will be your guide as it has been all this time. I think we all want to thank the fine people at EALA for putting all of their time, effort, blood, sweat, everything thing they have into this game. They are all on vacation right now, but that doesn’t mean we cannot tell them how appreciative we are of their work by posting in this thread in the forums. I want to see that thread be filled with people thanking EALA for all their great work on the game. Even if you don’t have an account you can still post in the thread as a guest. I will tell you one thing; I have been waiting for over a year for this game, and I cannot believe that the wait is almost over.
