Happy Independence Day to all the Americans on the board
Great thing about July 4th for Canada is all the movies that are on, on American channels 
I just hope no aliens invade today (u know, the movie Independence Day)

Dude, you don't know the reason behind Independence Day? The name alone should explain it.
Its the day the US gained independence from the British.
Hence "Independence Day".....its not just a movie chap  |

Happy Independence Day to all my American brothers. Just got done eating smoked baby back ribs, corn, and baked beans. Then we blew up some fireworks. Just wish I would have had one of Karmeck's homemade bombs to put a hole in the pavement.

Well, we're slowly losing our freedoms in the name of "safety" and in the pockets of big business. First online gambling, then The Patriot Act, next come the guns. The one drawback of living in a country as free as this one is that the great majority of us never had to fight for that freedom (myself included) and give it up all too easily so that we can "sleep safer" tonight - too bad we'll pay for it when we wake up - the problem is by then it'll be too late.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Dude, Obama isn't going to ban guns. He would have to change the Second Amendment and thats impossible (both Congress would have to do it).
He's talking about banning assault rifles.
Who the fuck needs an AR-15 or an AK?
I am a fan of guns. Marksmanship is a skill. Same as archery basically.
But NO ONE needs a fuckin AR (civilian model of the M16).
Remember that sniper in Washington in like 2003? He legally bought an AR and modified it to military specs (which is simple to do if you know guns and the dude was in the military).
Even if he didn't modify it for better velocity and shit....you can buy or make silencers and you buy optics. |
