Wasnt to sure on where to put this but I just need some advise on where to buy a card so I can plug my Xbox360 into my PC maybe via HDMI?

I know you can buy a DVI or VGA cable for the 360 then plug it into my monitor but I wont have sound plus I can still do stuff on my PC while playing the 360 when pausing.

Any help would be great thanks!

sure it's possible. you either feed the sound to your speakers via optical or cinch. maybe you need an adapter depending on your speaker config, but that's it.

depends on whether you can switch input sources on your monitor (i suppose you don't want to start pulling and plugging cables Wink )

You will have sound with VGA cable. Simply connect sound plug to Line-In on PC sound card and that's it. I have mine connected this way. My monitor has VGA and DVI. I use DVI for PC and VGA for 360. Simply press the SOURCE button and it switches from PC to 360 and vice versa.

If you want to go HDMI way, you'll need HDMI->DVI adapter (if your monitor doesn't have HDMI) and audio adapter which outputs analog stereo and optical.

If you've got one of the better logitech speaker sets theres a plug for digital audio which the 360 supports.
