I need a wireless security camera for the garage I share with other people. Need something inexpensive, wireless, and preferably something that can record in dark/low light conditions. I have no experience in the field so any advice is appreciated. I have found a kit, 2 cameras + receiver for 100 bux, http://www.wirelesscameraoutlet.com/product/zj812z2 . Will this do it? Do I need to run separate power line for the cameras or can I just plug it in the same outlet the garage door opener is plugged in?

Those leds usually also emit some visible red light, so it will be obvious there is a camera. Cameras take little power, so they can use an existing line.

I don't need it to be a hidden camera. If 'they' see it, then its fine. It will work as a deterrent also. So you think the link I posted is worth trying? Anything else you could recommend?

A buddy of mine just went for a cheap yet functional network camera which he hooked up to a wireless router and then he put up some lights to a motion sensor.
The motion sensor ligths where primarly for functional use with the bii product of adding more light for the sec camera.
also makes running trough the tape easier. Since you can easily see when someone enters =)
