Do you guys know what those touch screenish computers they use on Stargate Atlantis are called? And are the real and powerful enough to do stuff aside from say writing shit and what not?

I'm thinking of buying one now....but I can't see a use for it. For me. Don't need it for work. Wouldn't take it anywhere cause when I go out, I go out to do something or am with someone.
It's not powerful enough to play games on (1Ghz and 512MB RAM) and I have an MP3 player.
Fuck...I wish I had a reason to get one of these or that they were more powerful
Maybe in 2 years they will have one thats atleast 2.5Ghz, 2GB RAM, 100+GB HD etc
Something I can run games on.
I'd buy it then.
Tho....this would make a good gift for my niece since all she does is email and use msn and shit.

uhh.. dude. a graphics tablet isnt a comp.. the cintiq is just a screen with a interface touch screen on it right? or Im terribly mistaken

Yeah, Yond linked to the right thing.
My niece has no need for a graphics tablet dude.
But I'm gettin her a laptop for her bday. And I thought this would be cooler. She doesn't use the comp for games...just msn, email, facebook and homework. She's 12. |
