I really want to have an HDMI output with 8 channel LCPM output.
So far there is NO soundcard that does that (except for one that has other problems), but some ATI GPUs are capable.

and with some i mean the whole HD 4600 & 4800 series. Smile
AFAIK nvidia does not offer anything of the like.

250 € = 350,3 US$ is my maximum.
So far i expect the HD 4850 X2 to be the one which provides the most bang for its bucks or is simply the best in this price range, is that true?

My current specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 @ ~3,1 GHz
Gainward GF8800GTS 640MB
DDRAM2 2048 MB PC800 SuperTalent CL4 Heatsink (2x1024)
Be Quiet! E5-650 - this thing died though and soon i should be owner of a replacement by Be Quiet!

I'd appreciate any help from you! Smile

I think a 4850X2 is better than a 4890. Smile

Thought about the Sapphire, although I thought about the 4890 Atomic - 1GHz Core, 4.200 MHz memory clock.
A native HDMI output's only benefit is that i might be able to use my 2 Crt's, but its been a while since i did that anyway...
While most other cards dont have a native HDMI output its, thanks to the adapter, virtually the same thing, so i dont care Razz

Is there any particular version of the 4850 X2 i should favor ? Is there a particular quiet one, e.g.?
