Ever since the latest Firefox update it randomly has moments where it will spike my CPU usage and scrolling web-pages/typing text becomes insanely laggy. If I minimize and maximize the browser via the taskbar the problem goes away for a while.

I've tried disabling all addons/plugins - doesn't seem to do anything.
I've tried fucking with the Smooth Scrolling option - doesn't seem to do anything.

This is some strange shit - I've never had this issue before and I'm unable to figure out exactly what causes it, it seems to be completely random.

Ideas?

I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

I had that problem too - and i narrowed it down to Flash Player being bugged! Updated it and it seems to be gone now. This was on my work PC though, WnXP + FF3.
