ok, here's the thing, I have 2 PCs, and in I've been buying HDD drives almost every month now, atm I have:

4 SATA 1 TB
2 IDE 500 GB
5 IDE 1 TB

Plus I have some more 4 drives that I do not use each one having between 80 and 200 Gb.

I tried buying external boxes for each HDD, and when I had something like 5 boxes I began perceiving that I had a problem.

So, My dilemma is, atm I have 5 HDDs in one PC plus 3 in another and 3 in external cases to space desk space.

but for obvious reasons having that many HDDs in each PC is eating resources and power at an absurd level.

And I just can't have 10 external cases lying around in my desk, I need some other solution, like a external box like thing that can handle all my drives, I plan on buying another 2 HDDs this month and still had a plan to use my unused HDDs, so I need something where I can have 10-20 HDDs SATA and IDE alike, is there such a thing?

go for a NAS or get a coolermaster stacker pc case (or something similar) where you can fit in up to 12 drives.

oh and sell everything below 1TB. i had about 5TB spread across 200-500gb hdds, put them on ebay last month and switched it all to 1TB samsungs, even made a nice profit Very Happy
keeping old, small drives just wastes space, energy and time - not to mention you're asking for a drive failure after a few years.
