The official forum was detected unknown draft series Command & Conquer, entitled Arena. What is it? The new game, or working title of some of the private projects? And maybe just a collection of the previous games? So far, only know that there will participate Studio Shadowplay Studio, which was previously developed film videos for Need for Speed series and other products of EA.
Recall that just recently was talking about porting the new C & C games on iPhone. Is something like this with an unknown project of C & C: Arena, is not yet known.
The second is a reminder that even in the bonus material of C & C: Red Alert 3, Mike Verdi said that the next game will be focused on the collective game. |

It's quite logical when you think about it, EA are all for micro transactions and a "cardbased" C&C would offer just that; 'just buy this unit and you can counter your enemy'.
Quit supporting EA, simple as that.

worst thing that ever happened to C&C was EA buying Westwood.
That day was the day C&C died.
Wish the original creators from C&C would come up with something new.
Considering they don't work for EA anymore it could be possible, but i guess they are rich enough to not care.
As for me even though i love the series, its best to let the franchise die, if a game like RA3 is what we can expect from now on.
Card based C&C game, cmon just stop leeching every last dime out of it already.

EA have a reputation for closing mmos down anyway.
MCO and ENB were closed well before they should have been both had big enough followings that EA should have been making profit from them.
EA suck they just want instant profit , battleforge probably wont last a year

Oh man I'm so sick and tired of reading these 3 letters 'MMO', even thou I was hardcore MMO gamer in the past. Devs, just fuck off and die with your MMO faggotry already.

It doesn't really matter since C&C has been dead for a long long time.

I don't entirely buy this story (there are a lot of signs pointing to Generals 2 being the next C&C), but if it's true, whatever. I liked BattleForge, so, sounds good to me.

So, the only C&C games you like are C&C1, and RA1? Because those are the only two that came before the Westwood aquisition.
RA2 is till my favorite C&C, and I like the more recent ones as well (C&C3, RA3). I don't care who made them.

Some of the original developers still work at EA Redwood Shores (still working on the new C&Cs, as far as I know), and most of the rest of them formed Petroglyph Games (developers of Star Wars: Empire at War, and Universe at War: Earth Assault).
Also, no, I doubt that most of them are "rich enough to not care." Individual game developers are not usually all that rich. Sure, some big-name producers and designers make a ton, but regular team members on games usually work for salaries, just like most people. You don't get rich being a regular programmer or a 3D modeller.
